Design and Construction of MDU (MEK Dewaxing Unit)

The Methyl Ethyl Ketone Dewaxing Unit (MDU) is a critical project designed to dewax the ISO recycle feed from Bandar Abbas petrochemical, alongside the production of liquid paraffin and slack wax by the Negarandish Petro-Palayesh Company. The MDU project utilizes Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) as an industrial solvent. This solvent is regenerated and reused in the process after it has been used in the separation of feed and products, making it a more sustainable and cost-effective solution.

Despite being abandoned in the previous stage, the MDU project required modifications to finalize the project. The Irgan Energy Sanat Company was assigned the task of bringing the project to completion. The engineering discipline of Phoenix Oil and Gas Company collaborated with Irang company and achieved the ultimate goal defined for the project.

The MDU project is an opportunity for potential investors to invest in a sustainable and profitable project. By utilizing MEK as a solvent, the project is cost-effective and environmentally friendly. Additionally, the project serves as an essential step in ensuring the high-quality production of liquid paraffin and slack wax by Negarandish Petro-Palayesh Company. With our dedication to sustainability and environmental regulations, we are confident that this project will deliver superior returns for our investors while promoting a greener future.
